Our 21 Day Challenge BEGINS!

Well, we are off on our first day for our 21 day challenge.  I love the simplicity of this challenge.  It doesn't have to be climbing Mt Everest.  It can be as simple as putting the cap back on your toothpaste, making sure you read at least 2 books to your children a day, picking up a small neglected area of your house, ANYTHING!

I stated my goal in our initial post here.  It is my hope that these small changes will result in a little or BIG improvement in your personal life.  May is Mama's Month but Dad's are more than welcome to join in the fun.

As a way to kick off our fun challenge, Little Speckled Frog, one of our favorite online stores, has sponsored our event and given us a nice giveaway for one lucky winner.
Calm & Clean Wash

This is good to use on baby, mama, and the whole family whether you want to get clean or just get calm.

To enter our giveaway (for 3 separate entries):

1.  Post in the comment field below what you are doing for the next 21 days.
2.  Tag us on your Facebook Wall: "I've started the 21 Day Challenge with @Ecological Babies"
3.  Go like Little Speckled Frog and tell them that you came from the 21 Day Challenge.

Giveaway ends 5/1/12 at Midnight E.S.T.  Winner will be drawn the following day and announced on our Facebook page.

Good luck and let's begin our challenge!

Peace,

I walked around Lake Ella this morning for the first day of my 21 day challenge. My goal is to walk for 30 minutes at least four mornings a week with my toddler in the Ergo on my back.

I am going to the gym at LEAST 3 times a week all month! I am doing a 5k at the end of June, so this challenge is just what I need to get myself motivated to get ready!

Oh so many areas of my life that I could choose. I think I will go with working to clean out my storage room....er....I mean office to convert it to part office/part craft room.

I'm going to actually make my bed each day instead of leaving it a disaster. My 3-year-old even noticed. "Wow, your bed looks so pretty today, Mama!" Ouch.

I am cutting my TV viewing time in half, from about 2 hours total per day to 1 hour per day. Used my hour already today on morning news and a short show during lunch....so I'll need to find something else to do this evening! :)

I'm also going to go to bed earlier...especially when my husband is out of town...this is the time I need the most sleep, yet I stay up super late. I need to do better and I will!

My goal is to listen to my 5-yr-old read at least 5 days a week and walk 30 minutes at least 3 days a week. I'm also going to be better about enforcing our electronics rule. Somehow, the kids are sneaking in way too much electronics time these days when they should be outside enjoying this beautiful weather!
